Tickets for our Mainstage Production of 'The Weir' by Conor McPherson are now on sale! April 10, 11 & 12, 2026 @ The Cambridge Foundry. See you there!
The Here Comes Everybody Players present Conor McPherson's 'The Weir', a harrowing series of ghost stories set in a traditional Irish Bar.
After a few drinks at the local bar, a group of locals reveal stories with a supernatural slant related to their own experiences or those of others in the area in an attempt to impress Valerie, a young woman from Dublin who recently moved into one such haunted residence. The stories are reminiscent of the popular preoccupations of Irish folklore: ghosts, fairies and mysterious happenings. After most of the men have shared a story, Valerie turns the tables with her own chilling story, which just so happens to be the reason she left Dublin.
This is HCE Players first fully-staged production in a long while! In an effort to "revive" HCE, we are so excited to present this haunting play by one of Ireland's best playwrights at The Foundry in Cambridge. We hope this story, this cast, and this "revived" version of HCE endears you to stick around, our next season will be just as exciting!
